We are writing to inform you that due to
China National Holidays (September 3-September 5, 2015), the State
Intellectual Property Office and the State Administration for Industry and
Commerce Trademark Office of P.R. China will be closed during the said
periods. All deadlines for
trademark matters falling during this period will be automatically
extended to September 6, 2015 (Sun.), the first working days
following the extended holidays.
Meanwhile, the deadlines for patent matters can be extended
to September 7, 2015 (Mon.).
Therefore, we would appreciate if all urgent
China cases and instructions are received no later than September 1, 2015
given that Chinese translations are required in obtaining effective filing
dates.
Hopefully, this schedule will not cause
you any inconvenience. Thank you for the
cooperation.
