We are writing to inform you that due to Labor Day Holidays lasting from May 1 (Thu.), 2014 through May 3 (Sat.), 2014, the State Intellectual Property Office and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce Trademark Office of P.R. China will be closed during the said period.  Accordingly the Chinese TRADEMARKapplications deadlines falling during the period will be automatically extended to May 4 (Sun.), the first working day. 

However, the deadlines for Chinese PATENT applications falling during the said days remain to the next working weekday, that is, May 5 (Mon.), 2014.

Therefore, we would appreciate if all urgent China cases and instructions are received no later than April 25, 2014.

Hopefully, this schedule will not cause you any inconvenience.  Thank you for the cooperation.
