Dear Colleagues:
We are writing to inform you that this year we will be celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival from May 27 to May 30, 2017. The Taiwan Intellectual Property Office as well as our firm will be closed during the said period. All deadlines falling during the period will be automatically extended to May 31 (Wed.), 2017. We will also resume normal business operation on May 31 (Wed.), 2017. However, kindly note that June 3 (Sat.) will be a working day in Taiwan to accommodate the long holidays. Any deadline for Taiwan applications falling on June 3 will NOT be postponed.
Therefore, we would appreciate if all urgent cases and instructions are received no later than May 24, 2017.
Hopefully, this schedule will not cause you any inconvenience. Thank you for the cooperation.
